For a post.
Here's an update on Barry and I's life:
Barry has been working hard. He recently purchased two additional insurance agencies in Pinetop AZ and takes over this coming week. He has been quite involved with that whole process while still working at his Tempe office. When he is not working, Barry enjoys very much his settlers of Catan app on this new i4 iphone. He shows me each time he is "Lord of Catan". He finally switched to Verizon! whoopwhoop! His next love is Bill O'Riely and Fox news. Barry is also fond of his X-box and customizing his arsenal of weaponry. In January I discovered that Barry doesn't like bean and Ham soup. I made a WHOLE BIG pot of it and ended up eating it all by myself. Barry enjoys his calling to "inspire the minds" of the 16,17 year old kids in our ward.
I am still working away at Ray Family Dental Care as the RDH. I have been there a year this Feb. I had an AWESOME January, but my months still fluctuate and I had a much slower Feb, because I am paid on 100% commission. I am grateful for a job and a way to feel productive and keep busy. Also in January I was off to a great start with my goal of reading more books. In a week I finished "The Hunger Games" series and really liked it. An event that I know would be inevitable came to pass. I had to give back Trent's (Barry's brother) Mazda RX8. He has been so kind to allow me to drive it for the past 2years. Oh man, I loved driving that car. I got a little attached. So that means I had to break down and buy a new car. Barry helped me with the process this time around to avoid a repeat of my last buying experience. I got an Infinity G35 and it is wonderful. I love reliable transportation and know I am blessed. I am enjoying my calling as 1st counselor in the relief society presidency. I had to teach this month and am getting better. I still feel very inadequate, but am doing my best to serve the sisters.
Together Barry and I like to go on dates. We like to eat out and watch movies. We are so blessed. Barry is so great to be around. He makes me laugh and reminds me when I get a little high strung, or down that there are very few things in life that are of REAL importance. For Valentines we went out with two couples in our ward to a place called Brio. It was delicious. After dinner we went to the Stake Sweethearts ball (I know we are super cheesy and I'm okay with it because we had a goofy fun time). We love our life together.
I got together last week with some long time girl friends from MCC 1st ward days when Barry was out of town with work.
Here are the Boys Valentines weekend with their WHOLE chickens at Brio.
My new car.
